Music Category Manager
Bridgett Anderson is an Artiste Manager, Events Planner and Professional De’cor Specialist. Her love of good music has kept her in the music business for 3 decades, from Judy Mowatt to Garnett Silk. Her early days of being an Air Jamaica Flight Attendant, brought her around the world, and her love for music grew even more, when she saw how Jamaica’s music was received around the world.
Also known as Sister Reuben, from the Twelve Tribe organization, she brought Garnett Silk to fame and almost fortune, his untimely death still shakes her to the core. Bridgett and Tony Rochester, under First Born Management literally made “Silk” a house hold name in Jamaica.
She is known as the ‘Queen of Management.’ This regal Rastafari woman, with an endearing smile, has been a fixture on the music circuit for over 30 years.
Bridgett now manages Samory I and Kimmy Gold, while doing De’cor for corporate events, and major music festivals, such as Reggae Sumfest. Her music experience and ‘know-how’ has been an integral part of the Booyaka family since the inception. Her contribution helps the Booyaka Museum to correctly categorize the music of our Reggae Heroes.
